Is money everything? Can't money buy happiness? these types of questions are such debatable stuff that if someone starts would end up with no conclusions. This five alphabet word is a lot more than it appears. It is that element of humans life that it many times proves to be most cruel and painful.

Is Really Money Everything?

We all humans are running wild from our childhood, working shit hard work for what? You all know the answer. Yes it is holy money. It is very important to earn money no one can deny this fact. It's simple if you want to survive in this world then the first thing that you should have in your pocket is money. There Are different aspects of how we spend money and how it affects us. Whether you drive a Volkswagen or Bently, the road remains the same isn't it. If you wear a simple Fastrack watch or an Omega the time remains the same. whether you fly in the economy or a business class the destiny remains the same. There is no harm or anything bad in owning a Bently or flying in business class but the point of saying all these things is that if we dig deeper into these sayings will find that people in this world may have different goals, different paths, different destiny but there are two aspects of standards.

we are busy increasing our standard of living but we don't try to rise our standard of life, which is far more important.

With more money, one can easily increase his or her standard of living by buying different essentials and non-essentials commodities like a costly car, a big house, for some it may also owning a private jet and a continued list. The essentiality of things can differ from person to person, so we cant justify them.
Standard of life means, enriching life with good deeds(helping someone in trouble, this help can be in the form of monetary or something else), having a healthy and happy relationship with others little piece of love to needy.

The point here that can be relied upon is Standard of living don't make you happy, but the standard of life make you happy. And we forget to give attention to those things that can truly make us happy.

Some people are so poor, so poor, so absolutely poor, that all they have is money. This type of life if one considers its aspects will state it as poverty-stricken life. Here the person is poor not from the point of view of money but the ethics of life. If all you have money, you are the poorest person in the world. Because there is more to life than money and there is way more to life than what money can buy.

Can money buy happiness?

Every then and now you may come across this famous phrase that money can't buy happiness. Is it so? Let's check it out.

One of the famous personality Michael Norton's(professor at Harvard Business School) in one of its TEDx talk said that -

"If you think money can't buy happiness, you're not spending it right." This means that if we spend money in some different way it might work better. People don't spend money in a way that may provide them happiness.

What we generally do with our money? Once we start earning money, we start spending it on self which makes us happy because now with money we can buy our dream car, house, eat what we like, much more these kinds of stuff and in fact, it is not bad we have full freedom on our money, how we spend it. But this type of happiness obtained from the materialistic things lasts for a very short period of time.

Money spent that makes some needy person happy is what provides the ultimate source of joy.

In an experiment, two people(A and B) were given a different amount of money, say ten dollars to A and five dollars to B. A was told to spend the given amount on himself only and B was told to spend the provided amount on someone else. At the end of the day both were asked to tell their level of happiness at that moment. A told that he spent his money by buying a cup of coffee and a burger said that there is no increment in his happiness, for him, it was a simple day as usual. Whereas B in spite of having less money than A, was happier. B said he spent his money on buying food for a homeless poor man, seeing the happiness on the face of the man filled his heart with joy and happiness.

Have you ever noticed that when you buy a present for your mother and she likes it a lot, this makes you very happy.

The point of saying is that spending a little fraction of money spent on someone who is needy or who appreciates your deed with the heart can thrive you with true happiness.

There is also one case on whom you spend your money. Like many a time you spend money on your so-called crush, lol and in return in most of the cases this hurts you rather than providing happiness. This happens because, in spite of how hard you love him or her, they take everything as granted and your feelings got crushed down.

This sucks a lot and you should remain far away from these things knowing your worth.

Money isn't everything, it is in some aspects true but also giving this excuse for not earning money is a very dumb excuse which many people give. For living in this world, the first thing you need is money. Money makes our life easier. For everything that you want in your life like from health facilities or education you need money. We can't say directly that money is everything but money is something without whom we can't survive but with money and a good standard of life one can derive immense true happiness that money alone can't buy.
