It is very old and famous saying that "You reap what you sow." This gives us a profound feeling of happiness and joy when we are sitting back on our sofa making great plans for the future.

You reap what you sow, is this a complete statement?
Let's be practical, as this statement goes around sowing and reaping, lets virtually go to an agricultural field and see how all these things work. First, a farmer ( let him be Ram for our example) decides what he has to sow, then he goes to the market and tries to buy the best quality of seed so that it could turn into a good crop to reap.
If we want to relate this instance to our own life, this simply resembles our act of setting goals for our future.
And then making great plans to accomplish them.
Now after Ram had bought the seeds he sows them and do you think all things end here? because the statement we were talking about ends up here without picturing the in-between scenario for reaping the good crop.
It only says sow good seed and be ready for great reap. But this is not so as it seems. If we ask Ram what is the real picture behind the scene, he will say he worked very hard day and night irrigating, fertilizing, and protecting the crop from pests and animals.
This simply fills our incomplete statement. After we had decided our goal and made a plan to achieve it the main thing that comes in between the goal setting and achieving how much hard work we put in. It is not that simply setting goals will make them a reality. It is truth and it may seem harsh to many of us but without hard and smart work nothing will be going to happen.
"Read between the lines." is a good statement that tells us to dig something so that we don't stay inside the pit of half-knowledge.
Elon musk, a well known successful entrepreneur once told a boy who asked Elon that he wanted to be an entrepreneur like him, that doesn't start something if you will not be able to put hard work into it. He said being an entrepreneur wants a lot of hard work.
