'As memory fades, events from the past can become events of the present.'
It is many times noticed that some events that occur in the present are just replica or were occurred in the past. Many times we find something that has any relation with the past. This can be happy or sad. It all depends on different factors.
History repeats itself. Yes it's true.
Authors like William Strauss and historian Neil Howe, argue that this is due to the cyclical nature of history.
Due to the cyclic nature of history people forgets the history and indulge themselves in those activities that lead to the reoccurrence of history.
How funny, we go around and around this circle called history, thinking it is a line. We suppose we have reached the end, but at that precise moment, we find ourselves right back at the beginning.
'Darkness rises again - and only falls when we admit history has no end.
In the above illustration we humans are illustrated as hamsters in the hamster wheel.
Going around and around, then also reaches the same place from where we started.
Let's move on to some facts that will justify the above concept.
*As the recent outbreak of covid19, if one focuses on the history will get to know that these type of hazardous epidemic diseases had spread in the intervals of hundred years indicating history repeats.
• 1720(Black death)
The outburst of the plague. Leading to the death of 100,000 people. The epicenter was Europe.
•1820(cholera attack)
The outburst of cholera. About 15 million people died.
•1920(Diphtheria attack)
The outburst of Diphtheria. About 50 million people died making it deadliest epidemic of history.
•2020(Corona attack)
The outburst of covid19. About 20,500 died till now and still dieing. Wuhan a city of China was the epicenter of this deadly virus.
REASON
The reason behind this fact is that the new generation of people didn't learn from the mistakes or circumstances that lead to hazard in the past.
And 'as the history repeats itself the nation that gets affected, shifts to back foot on the pitch of development.'
'Likewise, nature too reverse it cycles when it needs to release some of its pressure.'
